IMSI/Design, producers of TurboCAD®, DoubleCAD™, DesignCAD™, and the TurboViewer families have announced that in February they will be releasing the TurboApps™ SDK. This SDK (Software Developers Kit) will allow developers to produce applications that incorporate features from IMSI/Design's mobile CAD apps based off of their TurboViewer® series. The TurboApps™ SDK will be free and will be available in February 2012.

IMSI/Design to Enable an Entirely New Generation of Mobile CAD apps
NOVATO, Calif., January 10, 2012 – IMSI®/Design, announced today the first 2D and 3D development platform for Mobile CAD apps.
"We are going to enable an entirely new generation of CAD developers, letting them create powerful, custom apps based on our TurboViewer® series, the fastest 2D and 3D viewing platform in the mobile world," stated Royal Farros, Chairman and CEO of IMSI/Design. Free and available in February, 2012, the TurboApps™ SDK will let CAD developers build apps around viewing 2D and 3D DWG and DXF wireframe models.

We believe we can be a foundation for Mobile CAD going forward and can't wait to see what apps the smart phone and tablet generation creates,” added Farros.
